I have one already Bought this as a back up.

I have one already. I like it so much I bought another. It's great for fishing in tight spots from the bank. Would be good for a youngster as well.

I plan on keeping a spinner on one and an optional lure on the other. They are easy to move around in the trees with.

Good Rod, poor made teel

I’m giving this 4 stars because the rods are great but the reels handles break so easily. I have 4 of these and everyone of the reels broke within the first time or 2 of using them. Flimsy design on the fold away handle. Now I have to buy more reels!

Fantastic rod not so good reel

The rod alone makes this combo worth. It has quickly become one of my favorite rods, love how compact and light weight it is. It cast great very far and accurate especially for a 5ft rod. Now for the bad, it's the reel. Made out of plastic so wasn't expecting much but the collapsible handle broke after my 4th bluegill. Overall it's a great rod but would highly recommend swapping out the reel.
