We packed these rods down to British Virgin Islands and fish with off the sailboat for a week. Caught snapper ,stingrays, big eye Jack's then back to Lake Kissimmee for speck fishing. Love these rods
I own three ACC Crappie stix, but I use my Sam Heaton super sensitive rod the most. Paired with a shimano sienna1000, 6lb test..I’m able to cast 1/16th oz jigs with ease. These rods are more sensitive than the acc rods. It truly is my go to rod when the bite is slow and presentation and sensitivity are key!
Hands down one the best casting rods on the market. This has become my favorite casting rod for casting 1/32 to 1/8 ounce jigs to roaming open water fish. Super light to fish with all day.
This rod is sensitive enough for panfish and trout but has enough backbone for that unexpected bass
